We are seeking a Recovery Outreach Coordinator to join our team of professionals at Master Center for Addiction Medicine who are providing outpatient treatment to persons with substance use disorders as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment team.

Master Center for Addiction Medicine is a private, outpatient addiction medicine treatment center based in Richmond, Virginia. The Recovery Outreach Coordinator is responsible for creating relationships with community resources in the region, including therapists, sober living, law enforcement, hospitals, medical providers, and others that need to refer for Substance Use Disorder treatment. The Recovery Outreach Coordinator will work with the business development team to develop referral pathways and collaborative relationships with referral partners. The Recovery Outreach Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the Richmond team as needed.

Recovery Outreach Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain referral relationships with therapists, law enforcement, hospitals, medical providers, and others that need to refer for SUD treatment.
  • Schedule presentations with appropriate resources on Master Center model of care and services.
  • Serve as primary contact for referrals in the Richmond and surrounding areas to Harrisonburg, VA (80-90% of the time spent in the greater Richmond area) to coordinate with Richmond-based team for insurance verification and intake appointment. Subject to change based on need.
  • Document referral partner outreach activities in Salesforce, coordinate with Marketing Director on email campaigns, and Director of Client Development on outreach efforts
  • Recommend marketing events or initiatives within the assigned territory, and potentially cross-over to other territories as needed.
  • Assist the Director of Client Development in the creation of and execution of weekly, monthly and/or quarterly marketing events and collaborations.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of all Master Center programs to communicate accurately and effectively with referral resources.
  • Educate and inform referral resources on new programs.
  • Establish an effective referral pathway for referral partners under the direction of the Director of Client Development.

Daily Tasks

  • Establish and maintain referral relationships with therapists, law enforcement, hospitals, medical providers and others that need to refer for SUD treatment.
  • Serve as primary contact for referrals in the assigned territory area, coordinate with Richmond-based team for insurance verification and intake appointment. 
  • Document and track phone calls, texts and emails in Salesforce on a daily basis.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Weekly Tasks

  • Schedule presentations with team in Richmond on model of care as needed.
  • Document referral partner outreach activities in Salesforce, coordinate with Marketing Director on email campaigns, and Director of Client Development on outreach efforts.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of all Master Center programs in order to communicate accurately and effectively with referral resources.
  • Submit weekly goals report and meet weekly with the Director of Client Development.

Special Projects as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required. Two-year degree and clinical experience preferred.
  • Current Peer Recovery Specialist certification preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years management or business development experience.

This position is Monday through Friday 830AM to 5PM. Some weekend and evening hours may be required for business development tasks.
